Blue Interactive Agency - Web Developer & Technical Project Manager 2008-Present

I worked as a front end web developer at Blue in the beginning but while learning along the way I took on more roles including back end web developer, server administrator, and as we grew I also added Technical Project Manager with a little QA as well.

• Coded custom responsive Wordpress themes, Opencart themes, Magento themes, and custom api integrations from scratch using all custom code base as well as utilizing frameworks like Bootstrap and Foundation
• Maintained over 100 domains. Managed entire server infrastructure including migration from Rackspace to PEER1 and then on to individual servers at AWS, Digital Ocean and Linode.
• Coded responsive emails for Mailchimp, Constant Contact and Hubspot platforms.
• Managed client expectations and continuously integrated new functionality as well as performed content updates to their websites or applications.
• Built an award winning iOS application for Winterfest Boat Parade
• Provided SEO optimization, monitoring and modifications for client sites as well as rich schema data integration.

Contracted Web Developer & Multimedia Engineer - Web Application Developer 2000 – 2008

After being asked about my personal website I began getting requests to develop other clients websites which required knowledge and skill I had to obtain in order to become a better all around web developer handling the front and back end of their custom web application development projects. I continued to work as a multimedia engineer during this migration to the web.

• Improved delivery time and minimized lost merchandise by designing and implementing a web application for a container shipping company that allows them to track their containers globally.
• Increased efficiency by developing an Intranet application for an international business publication that allowed their employees to collaborate more effectively on in house database research projects.
• Developed and managed custom web applications for various small to medium sized businesses throughout Florida.
• Reduced costs and increased sales by consulting and engineering an online solution for Masterline that enabled them to become a force in their market
• Produced Digital Content (video and motion graphics) for various Fortune 500 companies such as Intel, Compaq, GEAC, FORD, and many others
